Efterklang - Performance Text for London's Barbican Centre

It's always great to be able to write about a band that you love, but it's even better when that band are doing something completely fresh and new - as was the story when Efterklang brought their opera to the Barbican Centre in London recently.

Having teamed up with composer Karsten Fundal to compose the music for Leaves: The Colour Of Falling in 2015, Efterklang revived the project to take it on the road this year - and I had the pleasure of putting together the accompanying text for their Barbican performance, which you can read below - and check out some of the music from the opera in my Hits & Bits playlist!
