Wrapping up with Keychange
After 5 and a half busy years, today marks my final day as Project Manager of Keychange.
It has been an honour to work on this hugely important project, and i'm incredibly proud of what the team has achieved over the past years. As well as being a Project Manager, the Keychange Pledge has been a huge focus of my work, and to see its ongoing impact and to have had the opportunity to outline its next steps and direction by leading the research and authoring the Keychange Pledge Action Plan felt like a fantastic final contribution to this important cause.
I'd like to send a heartfelt thank you to the Keychange team, to all participants past and present, the partners, sponsors and the many many collaborators around the world for all of the great events, conversations, actions and partnerships that have taken place since I joined the project back in 2018.
I’ve learnt a huge amount over the past 5 and a half years, from how to lead teams and projects, to manage large, global programmes, to initiate, host and mediate conversations between all different sectors of the music industry, as well as representing the project at countless conferences, festivals, roundtables and in interviews with the likes of the New York Times, the Guardian, the BBC and many more. The mission goes on, and I'm excited to see how the brilliant Keychange team will continue to create more space, representation and opportunities for women and gender expansive artists and music industry professionals than ever before.
For me, i'm stepping away to concentrate fully on my consultancy business Bad Rituals which celebrated its 6th birthday a few weeks ago, so get in touch if you'd like to find out more - or please feel welcome to explore my website for further information on my strategy, export and development work.
